I don’t know about you but I have more than one wedding coming up this summer and I’m already on the hunt for the perfect outfitS ! Note the plural, it’s not a misspelling ! After a couple of nights trawling through the interweb, I’ve found a couple of dresses that I think would be suitable for summer 2019. Here a few that I’ve added to my basket:
#1 – BLAIRE SILVER SPARKLE
The simplistic shimmer of this dress is fabulous and I can imagine the lights picking up the dress while you’re spinning around on the dance floor!
The frill detail towards the bottom of the dress adds to the girlie-ness of this piece.
A little expensive at €99 but you’d get away with doing less with this outfit as it’s simply stunning.
#2 – NAVY GEO PRINT SATIN FRILL SHOULDER SPLIT MIDI DRESS
I can picture this dress teamed up with a suitable fascinator and the perfect pair of navy heels. Satin is going to be a prominent material this summer and I love the way it feels on the skin so I’m all for this material. Especially on those hot summer days when you’re squashed into an overheated hotel ballroom. At €40 this dress is a steal.
#3 – BLACK STRIPE CONTRAST FRILL MIDI DRESS
I’m loving the stripes and polka dots on this number. On the catwalks for spring/summer we saw lots of polka dots and stripes from Gucci, Chloe, Oscar de la Renta and many more.
Here we have these two on trends designs TOGETHER – easy.
The best thing about this dress is that it’s €13, reduced from €42, from Pretty Little Thing.
I am definitely purchasing !
#4 – CARA PINK PUFF SLEEVE MIDI DRESS
This dress oozes character. For that POP of colour and to easily found in any crowd (useful if currently single) – this is your dress. Stand out from the crowd with this delightfully summery dress. Team it up with white heels, like the model, and you’ve got an easy wedding outfit that’s ready to stand out and impress !
I love the puff sleeve on this dress, very in vogue for the season.
At €71.99 I think this dress is worth every cent. It speaks volumes about your character and personality if you turn up in this number. Go get them Gurl !!!!
#5 – RUST POLKA DOT TIE SIDE JUMPSUIT
Yes I’m back to the polka dots and I love them! I wouldn’t normally think of wearing a jumpsuit to a wedding but this can be dressed up. The detail on the side adds a different dimension to this would be regular jumpsuit.
Paired up with a cropped jacket and heels this is absolutely suitable for a wedding outfit.
At €41 it’s on trend with a wide leg culotte trouser leg.
As you can see from my top 5 selection, I love midi length. I think for a wedding its more appropriate than mini and less dressy than wearing full length. Happy medium.
Thanks for reading !
